FAR AWAY ISLE

Nowhere on Earth lies further from any mainland.

These islands rise as fragments in an endless expanse — volcanic stone and green suspended in the vast Pacific, as if set apart from time itself. To stand here is to feel both the immensity of distance and the intimacy of a place shaped only by ocean, wind, and light.

Through long exposures and spacious frames, I seek more than the surface of this island — listening for the silence between waves, the rhythm of clouds drifting across peaks, the stillness that lingers after the wind has passed. In those quiet intervals, Maui reveals not just its form, but its soul.

An extended archive of works from this series is available to collectors upon request.
