Venice, Italy

Captured along the tranquil edges of Burano, this image reflects my fascination with the quiet spaces where land meets water. As vibrant and lively as Burano is, I found myself drawn to its outskirts, where calmness prevails. I spent hours immersed in this small, overlooked area, focusing on the simple elegance of this lamppost against the vast expanse of the lagoon.

EDITION & AUTHENTICITY

Each work is part of a limited edition of only 45 + 5 Artist Proofs, ensuring exclusivity and long-term value. Edition numbers apply across all sizes and styles, so whether you choose Studio, Boutique, Gallery, or Museum, the work belongs to the same unified edition. For finished works, the edition number, title, location, and signature appear on the reverse; Studio Prints are signed and numbered in pencil on the front border. Every piece is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. As the edition sells, prices increase, and once all pieces are collected the edition is permanently closed.

PURCHASING & SHIPPING

Every work is custom made to order, crafted with care, and typically completed within 4–6 weeks depending on style. Because each piece is created just for you, all orders are final once placed. U.S. shipping is included in the listed prices. For international collectors, please contact us for a shipping quote; duties and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient. Works are packed with the utmost care, fully insured for safe delivery, and created to be enjoyed for generations.

CHOOSING YOUR STYLE

For centuries, artists have turned to paper and pigment — from drawings and watercolors to the earliest photographic prints — valued for their tactile presence, their intimacy, and their permanence. In this tradition, I offer select works as finely crafted pigment prints on museum-grade paper.

STUDIO PRINTS

Hahnemühle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth — a 100% cotton, archival fine art paper revered in museums worldwide. Its smooth matte surface and deep tonal range deliver a subtle elegance that perfectly complements the work.

Each print includes a white border (.8” on 8” prints, 2” on all larger sizes) and is signed and numbered in pencil in the lower right corner — the only style where my signature appears on the front. Collectors may choose to show, mat over, or trim the border as desired.

For many years, I did not offer unframed prints, reserving all my editions for fully finished works. Advances in pigment printing, combined with my commitment to quality, have made it possible to now offer Studio Prints with complete confidence in their archival stability and enduring value.

Studio Prints may be framed and displayed immediately or preserved in archival boxes and portfolios, allowing collectors to build and live with their collection in a way that suits them best. Each work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Photography began on plates—daguerreotypes in the 1840s and tintypes in the 1850s—when images formed directly on metal, valued for a permanence and clarity paper couldn’t match. We continue that lineage in a contemporary way with two plate-based processes: Pigment Plate Prints and Dye-Transfer Chrome Prints.

BOUTIQUE STYLE

Pigment plate prints. Pure pigments are printed directly onto a smooth white plate using a UV-stable process. The surface has a quiet tactile relief with refined detail and a matte, glare-free presence; lighter areas catch a subtle sheen that adds depth and nuance.

Pieces are finished in a minimalist wood floater frame, available in eight curated tones: Natural Oak, Black Oak, Black Matte, Alder Brown, White Maple, White Matte, Walnut, and Natural Maple. Choose your frame tone at checkout and we’ll confirm by email before production.

For works ranging in size from 8x8” to 16x32”, pieces are finished with a .24” (6mm) frame face, while 24" and larger formats use a .6” (15mm) face for balanced proportion. Certificates are attached to every piece: a label affixed to the back on 8×8 to 16×32 works, and a pigment-printed certificate mounted to the back on 24″ and larger.

GALLERY STYLE

Dye-transfer chrome prints. In the mid-20th century, dye-transfer printing on paper was revered for depth, permanence, and tonal control. Dye-Transfer Chrome carries that tradition forward with modern plate technology: image dyes are embedded within the plate, yielding archival stability, exceptional clarity, and a matte, glare-free surface with luminous depth.

Presented frameless, the plate floats ¾″ off the wall, creating a crisp, modern hover that emphasizes the image edge and the soft shadow it casts. Each work carries its certification infused directly into the back of the plate and visible through a discreet cutout.

MUSEUM STYLE

Dye-transfer chrome prints. The same archival, luminous, matte, glare-free surface and embedded-dye clarity, presented in a floater frame for added depth and formality.

Frames are offered in Black Oak, Black Matte, White Oak, White Matte, and Walnut. The profile features a 3/8″ (10 mm) face with a 2″ (51 mm) overall depth, proportioned to give the work presence without overpowering the image. Certification is infused into the back of the plate and revealed through a discreet cutout.

Built with museum-grade materials and methods throughout, this is our highest level of presentation.

Still deciding?

Choose Studio for the purity of a pigment print on museum-grade paper — signed and numbered in pencil on the border. Studio Prints can be framed to your taste or preserved in archival boxes and portfolios, offering permanence with complete flexibility.

Choose Boutique for the warm, minimalist wood palette and the quiet, matte presence of pigment plate prints. Eight curated frame tones allow for a refined but understated presentation.

Choose Gallery for a frameless look, the plate floating ¾″ off the wall. Each is a dye-transfer chrome print — dyes infused within the plate — for museum-grade archival stability and luminous, matte depth.

Choose Museum when you want a framed statement with added depth and formality. The same dye-transfer chrome print, presented in a floater frame with five profile options for an elevated, well-appointed presence.

Custom presentations (by request)

Beyond Studio, Boutique, Gallery, and Museum Styles, select works can be customized for specific interiors: a flush frame for a seamless edge, white borders to introduce breathing room, bespoke frame mouldings, and more. We can also assist with framing Studio Prints to museum standards, including the use of Museum Glass. Timelines and pricing are quoted individually — Contact us to discuss.

LIVING WITH ART

Stillness Beneath the Surface

Venice is a city in motion—water rising and falling, light shifting across stone, people flowing through narrow streets. Yet beneath it all lies a quieter rhythm. These photographs turn movement into balance, revealing harmony in reflections, arches, and softened lines.

Beauty That Restores

It’s an old truth: humans are drawn to beauty. Not just for pleasure, but for restoration. A single image can reset the nervous system, quiet anxious thoughts, and return us to presence. That’s why bringing art into the spaces where we live, work, and gather is so vital. The positive shift beauty creates is more than a feeling—it’s a moment that can shape the rhythm of a day.

Art That Transforms a Space

Our homes are more than walls and furniture—they’re reflections of how we want to feel. A carefully chosen piece of art doesn’t just decorate a room, it transforms it. It sets the tone, deepens the atmosphere, and becomes part of the daily rhythm of life. A photograph can be both presence and refuge, grounding us in beauty every time we see it.

The Value of Collecting

A limited edition photograph is more than décor—it’s an heirloom of vision and craft. Each piece is created with permanence in mind: from archival print methods to museum-level finishes. Owning a work of art is investing in what lasts, grounding your space with meaning, and becoming part of a story that carries forward for generations.
